Special Guests on the evening were: Mr Gavin Hastings OBE and former captain of Scotland and the British Lions. Mr Alan Warriner-Little ‘The Iceman’ Former World Champion, World No 1 and ITV pundit/commentator. Mr Peter Manley ‘One Dart’ former World No 1 and Desert Classic Winner. Mr John Gwyyne Commentator and After Dinner Speaker. Mr Tony Ford East Stirling FC Chairman Diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Bryn Williams Motivational Speaker Diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
the dinner was aimed at raising funds for the awareness of Parkinson’s. The goal to raise public awareness and understanding of the condition first recognised 200 years ago.
The money raised will produce a DVD titled ‘Putting Parkinson’s into Perspective’ which will be given FREE to families who have family members or friends diagnosed with the condition. It will also be available at GP Surgeries and care home through Cumbria.
